Tale of the New Computer

 12 years ago I went from a desktop computer, a hand me down, to a laptop. Computer years, like dog years, are different than calendar years, so what I had on my hands, after 12 years, was an electronic senior citizen. I was off to the Apple store to purchase a new Macbook.

I have been blogging for a number of years under luckytraveler57. Begun on a Caribbean cruise it was initially meant to be a travel blog, hence the title, of trips I have taken both past and present. Eventually it morphed into a place for me to write, basically, anything I wished. This has included day to day observations, social and political rants and, during the pandemic lockdown, a journal of the experience of going though that historic period. 

When setting up the new computer I discovered that, for whatever reason, the old blog would no longer allow me to add new posts. So I have created luckytraveler57 2.0. Old posts can still be accessed by Goggling luckytraveler57. I checked, sometimes I go back and read or refer to them myself.
